The Victoria Association
The Victoria Association was closed down at the General Meeting on 20 December 2012, by a majority of more than two-thirds of the members.
We have done what we could during Victoria's lifeimte and beyond, and collected over 150,000 DKK (approx. 25,000 USD) in private donations for the two Nepalese hospitals, including a container filled with donated medical equipment.
On behalf of the board, I would like to extend a warm THANK YOU to everyone who has donated money and supported our purpose; you have all made a BIG difference!
Here are the Minutes from the General Meeting and the auditor's Annual Report.
The Victoria Association was established to raise funds for the two hospitals in Kathmandu, Nepal, where Victoria spent her short life: Paropakar Maternity & Women's Hospital where she was born and lived on a chair during the first 20 months of her life; and Annapurna Neurological Institute, where she came in November 2010 and was treated but, sadly, died.
Registration fee and all donated amounts will go entirely to the hospitals.
With the Victoria Association, we hope to be able to help some of the other "Victorias" in Nepal to a better life.
